Dazy

Dazy was rescued by Michelle at 9-years old. She was originally diagnosed with heartworms, but with the research and investigative work of the KHF and veterinarians we partner with – We found Dazy to be heartworm free and were able to avoid the painful treatment due to a false positive. Dazy remains heartworm free today.

Tinker

Meet Tinker. This gorgeous girl is an 8-year-old, pit mix that was suffering from degenerative joints and a torn cranial cruciate ligament. Working with Pennsylvania Vet Care in Lansing, MI, we contributed the funds needed so that Tinker and her Owner can take walks with her and play together.

Food Assistance

During COVID – the KHF has provided food assistance for pets in need. We have donated food to pets and worked in conjunction with other nonprofits from North Carolina to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan including Gotham Kitties, GFDO Flint, Michigan and Brenda Wallace, Newberry, Michigan. These are some of our amazing clients.
